BULOVA
ACCUTRON "ASTRONAUT" NEW OLD STOCK BRACELET WELL SERVICED 1967
STOCK NUMBER # ACCUTRON70------As good as it gets
for Accutron Bulova wrist watches. This is the famous bi directional rotating
steel bezel with the 14 hour markers. The dial is factory original and the
crystal is perfect not a flaw to be found. The bracelet has never been
worn...yes I said never worn new old stock from 1967 and a gem. The hands are
original and notice it has the 24 hour hand. The case is all stainless steel and
as this is a 218 Accutron original movement. This is a back wind like it's
sister movement 214. Back wind plainly means it is wound from the back of
this steel screw in case. There are two openings on the back of this Accutron
astronaut case the big one with the slot is for the battery. The smaller one has
a small latch you lift and this will set the hands to the time you desire,
rather simple to do. This Accutron case is 40mm and wide it is 37mm. The case
serial number is D10634/M7 and the M7" tells me it is from the year 1967. I have
serviced this awesome piece and it has a new accucell inside so it will run for
along time. The bracelet has 11 links and two end pieces. On a closing note
there are no personal engravings on this case.
