DID YOU KNOW...,

Many of the wrist watches that were brought to North America in the 1940s were signed on the movement "not adjusted or non adjusted" ; This was actually not true as they were (90% of watches imported) adjusted at the Swiss factories, but to show the N American authorities they were "unfinished goods" and get around the "tax law" of those days,  it was said this way. So if you see "un adjusted or not adjusted" on the overseas movement of that time period, you can be 90% sure it is adjusted !

TIFFANY BY MOVADO , STAINLESS STEEL AND WELL SERVICED

STOCK NUMBER # TIFFANY600------This is an amazing find and freshly off my bench in perfect serviced condition. The case is signed Movado and it is all stainless steel with a screw in back. There is an engraving as you can see by the scan. I love the crab claw lugs as it adds much art-deco to this fine piece sold in the Tiffany dept store in New York City. This case is 40mm long and wide not including the original crown it is 30mm wide. The dial is in excellent condition and the hands are original and light up well at night. The crystal is glass and not a flaw. Notice please there is an inner dust cover which tells me this was a well thought out time piece and the inner dust cover protected the movement from micro dust and this is why it came to me in such fine condition. This is a Movado caliber 150/MN manual wind Swiss movement from the Movado factories and there are 15 clean and inspected ruby jewels.  The band is 16mm in width never worn not a bend. This is as art-deco as you can get and clean clean clean is the entire watch outside and inside.

ILLINOIS WHITE GOLD FILLED "WANDERING SECONDS" AND SERVICED  1931

STOCK NUMBER #ILLINOIS3390-------First of all I want to tell you although the dial is 100% original it is with many patina changes and having said this to you I will also tell you this movement is in perfect order so no worries at all please. The case is white gold filled and signed. As the scan shows you there is a disk under the dial and this revolves to show off the seconds 1 to 60 and quite rare for sure. The hands light up brightly and again this is an original Illinois dial never touched. The case is in awesome condition and signed on the inside "model 171" and the case serial number is 7,084,609. There are no personal engravings on this case as the can shows you. The movement is extra extra clean and the serial number is 5,366,427 which tells me this piece was produced in the year 1931 around the same time Illinois was sold to the Hamilton watch factories so there is much history to this piece. This is a 3/0 size with 17 jewels and it is a caliber 307 and just look at all the work that went into the damaskeening. I have cleaned this Illinois USA made movement to perfection and it runs like a tank!. The band is 18mm in width never worn not a flaw. The crystal is glass and flawless. You will never see such a stunning art-deco piece with wandering seconds from the year 1931 and not a flaw on the case movement or crystal!

LONGINES GOLD FILLED 1930'S AND SERVICED! 1930's

STOCK NUMBER # LONGINES3340-------Just a nice elegant Longines with the original high glass crystal. The glass crystal does have marks but not too bad and it is original so I left it on. The case is gold filled and quite clean as the scan indicates. This case is 40mm long and without the crown it is 23mm wide. The case is a snap in gold filled back and it is without any personal engravings. The serial number is 7,345,719 and the case reference number is the same as this Longines caliber movement and it is 947.N which takes the guess work of the questions "is this the original case for this watch!!". The movement is serviced and it is again 947.N movement and it is  a manual wind piece. There are 17 jewels and the serial number is 4,799,836 and produced at the Longines Swiss factories in the year 1928 and all these years later it keeps darn good time! The dial is excellent and the hands light up very well indeed. The band is 16mm in width never worn. This is a classic 1930's design and well maintained.

HAMILTON VERY RARE AUTOMATIC WITH SPIDER LUGS! 1965

STOCK NUMBER # HAMILTON0220------Here is a piece I snapped up  while the competition was snoozin!. This is not a common Hamilton with a need to have "Spider lugged" gold filled case and the scans will never do justice to this clean wrist watch by the Hamilton USA watch company. This is an automatic movement with a most desirable 661 automatic movement. The case is excellent and it is 43mm  long and without the crown it is 36mm wide is it is a mans size wrist watch. The dial is awesome and without a flaw, even the hands are original ! The case is with a stainless steel back and a screw closing ring to keep it in place. There are no engravings on this stainless steel back.  The case serial number is 683828 and the case reference number is K-375. The movement has been serviced properly and it has 17 jewels. This piece was produced in the mid 1960's and I can assure you they did not produce many of these automatic movements for they were experimental to test the market with. I bought this piece well so you may afford to purchase this piece for yourself or a great gift idea for someone special!. On a closing note the band is a never on a wrist band and genuine Alligator Lizard not cheap. All in all you have the total package right here at a great Darlor price.
