I have serviced this piece so for sure it keeps great time. This case is signed Benrus and it is gold filled with a stainless steel snap in back and there are no personal engravings on this case. From lug to lug this case is 38mm long, wide not including the original signed Benrus crown it is 29mm. The dial is totally original as well the gold hands and crystal. This is a manual wind Benrus movement and the caliber is DN2A with 17 clean and inspected jewels. If you look at the movement you will notice it is perfect and it really is next to new old stock. The band is 16mm in width never worn not a bend. The year of production for this Swiss Benrus is 1948 and runs and looks like day one out of the factory.SOLD ;-) |

MAPPINS GOLD FILLED DAY AND DATE AND WELL SERVICED 1965STOCK NUMBER # MAPPINS50------I have for sale a Canadian dial Swiss wrist watch as Mappins is a famous Canadian dept store Canada wide from Halifax to Vancouver island on the Pacific side. This case is gold filled on top and a screw in stainless steel back with no personal engravings at all to be found. From lug to lug this Mappins day and date automatic time piece is 40mm and wide it is 35mm. The movement is well maintained and freshly serviced for sure. There are 25 jewels to this automatic movement and the caliber for this Mappins movement is 1301 and the movement is pristine indeed. There are 25 clean and inspected ruby jewels to this time piece and again they have all been inspected. The band is 18mm in width never worn not a bend anywhere on this leather band for sure. ROAMER GOLD FILLED CURVED CASE AND SERVICED 1941STOCK NUMBER # ROAMER3333------I have for sale a 1941 Roamer Swiss curved case gold filled model and it runs like a "top". The case is a snap in back and made of stainless steel as it is smooth and near perfect without any personal engravings. This case is 43mm long and wide without the crown it is 20mm. The bracelet is an expandable gold filled type so it will fit any size wrist. The movement is serviced and extra clean as I made sure of this fact. There are 17 jewels with for adjustments so again expect quality here. The band can be changed for a leather new band for no extra charge if you so desire but the patina is a perfect match and adds an art-deco feel to this Roamer Swiss made gem. The dial is 100% original and so are the hands. The crystal is glass with no flaws. The case is with a stainless steel screw in back and there is a personal engraving. In short this engraving reads "SGT A. Dalcourt, Bonne chance, Tes Confreres C.C.R,1958-1974" Yes this piece belonged to a French Canadian Soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces and it English it reads "good luck from your buddies". The case is 40mm long and without the crown it is 36mm wide. Again this height on this piece is high at 12mm !. The movement is automatic and it is a caliber 2772 with 25 cleaned jewels.
