GENEVE 14 KARAT GOLD VERY EARLY WRIST WATCH 1926
STOCK NUMBER # GENEVE7733------As the expression goes "it's worth it's
weight in gold" and this one is NO exception indeed. I love the style of this
1920's Swiss made 14 karat gold wrist watch and the dark dial is a killer and
what a great contrast to this gold case and gold filled bracelet. It really
looks like a 1500.00 dollar watch but truly it is less than half this price!
The case is 38mm long and with the crown it is 25mm . the back of this case is a
snap in since the hinge is gone and it is with a perfect mirror finish and no
engravings at all. The case is tested in many spots and indeed it is a strong 14
karat gold case. The crystal is even glass not a cheap replacement! The
movement is a Geneve Uorfa caliber 58 movement and well serviced and maintained
over the years. I have cleaned, timed and regulated this beauty and wow is
all I can say. There are 17 jewels tot his movement and it has a wonderful beat
to the balance and pallat. The bracelet is again signed and gold filled and made
by the "Sturdy" case company. Elegance, class, style and truly a piece to wear
and show off next to any $5000 wrist watch, you will in fact out class them!
