I did change the glass crystal and it is perfect not a flaw.  This is a super clean full plate 18 size  Rockford movement and there are 21 clean and inspected jewels. The jewels I want to mention are all in seated solid gold jewel settings. On the barrel bridge it reads "910" and  this the model number. The serial number for this movement is 518,720 which tells me it is from the year 1898 and as it is well maintained and serviced properly it keeps great time for sure. The damskeen pattern is crisp and not worn at all.

E HOWARD SILVER HUNTER CASE SERIES 3 MOVEMENT IMPECCABLE CONDITION A REAL MUSEUM PIECE   1866

STOCK NUMBER # HOWARD66680-------I have for sale a stunning each and every piece inspected by hand E Howard museum piece series 3 pocket watch and it is impeccable! This is an 18 size movement and it is key wind from the back and key set from the back as well. The serial number for this amazing early Howard pocket watch is 18,031 and it is a mershon's rack and gear micro regulator as the scan shows you as this is difficult indeed to find in such proper order. On the main spring barrel it does in fact read "Reed's Pat Nov, 24 1857". There are 15 large and inspected jewels to this series 3 movement and again it has been inspected piece by piece, then cleaned then serviced then inspected once again so expect a proper time keeper. The case is made of "Coin silver" and it is across 58mm. The serial number for this Silver hunter case is 1606 and both back and front have the same serial number. When you push the crown in the lid "flips" right open with ease. The dial is factory original and it is a Howard piece for sure as the dial reads as such. The hands are thin Howard spade pieces and the glass cover is perfect not a flaw. The year of production for this amazing early American made E Howard is 1866 and true enough it keeps great time!
