HAMILTON 16 SIZE MODEL 992B GOLD FILLED IN PRISTINE CONDITION SCARCE
6 POSITIONS MODEL... 1943
STOCK NUMBER # HAM20-------This is a just a beautiful Hamilton pocket watch and
the over all condition is excellent as the scans show you crisp and sharp. This

gold back then in Timmins Ontario area) and the case serial number is 4,319,277.
The dial on this Hamilton pocket watch is enamel and factory fresh. Notice it
has the inner 13-24 Arabic markers as this was made for the Canadian railroad
systems, Vern Pickersgill was the train watch master for the C.P.R railroad and
wanted a different dial than the Americans so he came out with the 24 hour
enamel dial and must be double sunk just like this one is. He was also based in
Winnipeg Manitoba or as well call it here in the east "Winterpeg" as it is
veryyy cold in the winter, ok back to this Hamilton 992B pocket watch lol....,
The movement is a 992B caliber movement and it is a stem wind and lever set
model. There are 21 jewels and each jewel has been inspected and cleaned for
sure. This piece is adjusted and marked as such to 6 positions and it does keeps
great time for sure. The serial number for this genuine railroad pocket watch
movement is C,116,780 and this serial number indicates it was produced at the
Lancaster PA Hamilton factory in the year 1943. The crystal is glass and
flawless as well the hands are thick Hamilton factory spade hands. On a closing
note you can see by the scans there are no personal engravings as the back is
with a mirror finish.
