Across this Silveroid case is 55mm. Silveroid is a load of  "you know what" as it is just a fancy word to make you think there is a lot of silver in the case but in fact less than 5% is silver the rest is nickel and there were no regulations of how much or how little silver has to be in the case so there can be less than 1% and we will never know so it really is a nickel case. The case is signed silveroid and the case serial number is 3,028,386. The enamel dial is very clean and in excellent condition. The hands are railroad Illinois hands and the glass crystal is perfect not a flaw to be found. This case has no personal engravings as it does have a mirror finish on the back. The movement is once again a key wind and key set from the front. This Illinois key wind movement has a serial number and it is 662,227 and there are 15 large jewels and they have all been inspected so expect a good solid Illinois large 18 size key wind and key set pocket watch from the year 1886 I kid you not!

ELGIN 12 SIZE GOLD FILLED WITH SELLING BOX AND SERVICED

This case across is 46mm across and the case serial number is 66,739 and again signed Elgin. The dial is extra fine in all over condition and the hands are art-deco and original to this Elgin stem wind and stem set pocket watch. The movement is deeply engraved and with 17 clean and inspected jewels. The serial number for this manual wind gem is 37,221,280 and on the train bridge it reads adjusted to temperature so you know this is solid American know how. This pocket watch dates to the year 1938 and runs and looks like day one out of the Elgin factory. The selling box is original to this piece and in fine condition indeed. The crystal is flawless not a scratch as well there are no personal engravings on this case. This is a stem wind and a stem set. This is a 12 size by American standards and across this gold filled case is 44mm. The hands are original and the glass crystal is new old stock not a flaw to be found. The back is a hinged flip out with a mirror finish and no personal engravings at all. The case is signed "Scepter gold filled 14 karat" and the case serial number is 5,728,305. WALTHAM SWING OUT CASE GOLD INLAY OF A DEER ON BACK EXCELLENT SERVICIED CONDITION   1903

STOCK NUMBER # WALTHAM500-------This is a nice super clean piece with a solid gold inlay of a Deer on the back of this 16 size swing out case. This case across is 53mm and as you can see by the scan this is a swing out case attached by a ring holding the movement in, this ring with the movement swings out but the crown must be pulled out notch for this to happen. The case serial number is 7493. This Waltham 16 size movement is with 17 clean and inspected ruby jewels and these jewels are in gold jewel settings. Notice the center wheel is solid gold so you know this is a top quality piece. The serial number for this nickel damaskeened Waltham is 12,573,645 and this tells me it is from the year 1903 over 105 years of age and keeps terrific time for sure as I have fully serviced this piece with never a short cut taken at all. Across this coin silver case is 58mm wide as it is an 18 size stem wind and tem  set pocket watch from the Waltham USA made factories near Boston mass in the year 1899. The movement is well serviced and there are 7 jewels and inspected for sure. The serial number  this early "SOL" sun movement and signed dial is 9,151,069. This is a Waltham model 1883 and yes it is as clean in real life as it looks in these scans. The crystal is glass and the hands are "Sol" Waltham for sure. Not easy to find but we have a few ;-). STOCK NUMBER # WALTHAM350-------What a find this is. A beautiful Waltham movement with a multi colored enamel original dial in a new old stock 1920's nightstand. The only thing thing really to mention is the original multi color dial has a line in it, other than this fact you are looking at a museum pristine piece for sure. This stand is 100mm tall or just under 4 inches. At the wide point it is 73mm wide or 2 3/4 inches. The case  is signed and it reads A.W.C.Co and it is made of nickel. The case serial number is 1,550,081. The movement is stunning and the scan can't do the justice this gem really deserves. This is a 15 ruby jewel model 1890 and it is a six size by American standards. The damaskeened pattern is quite beautiful and it is with inlay gold. Notice the jewels are also in raised gold jewel settings and the center wheel is solid gold indeed. This is a stem wind and stem set piece and it has been fully serviced. STOCK NUMBER # ELGIN880-------This piece was produced at the Elgin watch factories in America in the year 1888 and just look how clean the dial, case and movement truly are as scans don't lie. If you notice we open many pieces so you can see what your purchasing , not relying on simple words but actual scans and this is a prime example of what we can do here at Darlor watch when it comes to restoring beauties such as this Elgin B.W Raymond model. This is an 18 size pocket watch and across it is 58mm. The case is  near sterling silver or .900 pure. The case is signed C.W.C.Co.900 pure silver and the case serial number is 4626. On the inside of back cuvette it is model 3 case and signed serial number same as the back of the case 4626. All hinges are in perfect order. The dial enamel and very clean. the hands are original and the crystal is glass not a flaw. There are 15 clean and inspected jewels tot his pocket watch and it is a stem wind and a stem set model. The movement is signed Hamilton Lancaster PA and it is a model "978" with 17 cleaned jewels. We have serviced this 16 size piece stem wind and stem set Hamilton. The serial number for this highly Damaskeened movement is 1,014,238 which gives me the year this Hamilton was produced and it is 1913. The serial number on this damaskeened model movement is 5,872,583 and this serial number tells me it is from the year 1892 and it does run perfectly as it has been just serviced the proper way. There are 15 clean and inspected ruby jewels and they are in press solid gold settings. One or two winds of the crown and this gem takes off like a rocket. A pouch will be add no extra charge.

I tried to find who this person is but to no avail so I can assume he was either VIP or a jeweller and had his name etched onto this Waltham pocket watch at the Waltham factories in Waltham Mass not too far from Boston before the turn of the century 1891 as the serial number on this movement gives me this info. I have for sale a model 1883 hunter and it is a stem wind and a lever set at the 5 position. The case is gold filled and it is a hunter in clean condition. The case is made by the "Duber" watch case company. The dial is original and it is signed the same as on the movement "J.E Carlson Arthur Illinois". The case across is 55mm and it is an 18 size so it is a big beefy size piece indeed. I have just freshly serviced this American made pocket watch so rest assured it is a strong runner from 1891! The serial number for this Waltham pocket watch is 5,127,345. Please notice the dial is not perfect but because it is original and for this movement and case I left it exactly as is.

ELGIN  "CASE IN CASE " KEY WIND, RARE AND SERVICED 1904

STOCK NUMBER # ELGIN7600------Here we have a case in case Elgin key wind  pocket watch and it is a big size. This is an 18 size by American standards and just off our bench cleaned timed and onto our web pages. This case is 60mm across and with the bow down it is 70mm long. The crystal is glass and the hands are original to this piece. The dial is an Elgin original enamel dial and with a 10X power loop I see next to no flaws on the dial. The movement is signed Elgin and it has 15 jewels. This is a key wind from the back and key wind from the hands. In other words you will see a square notch just at the minute hand where the key will fit into. Turn the key when in this notch and the hands will turn in a perfect manner. The serial number for this Elgin movement is 11,796,221 which tells me this  Elgin was produced at the American Elgin factories in the year 1904. The key and chain with a nice pouch will all be included no extra cost to you ;-)
