HAMILTON SIGNED CASE MODEL 950B CANADIAN 24 HOUR DIAL, 23 JEWEL POCKET WATCH WELL SERVCIED 1952

STOCK NUMBER # HA182650-------I have for sale a very clean and well maintained all these years Hamilton 23 jewel model 950B...the "top Dog" when it comes to railroad pocket watches produced by the Hamilton Lancaster PA watch factory. This is a 16 size stem wind and lever set railroad piece and the case is signed "Hamilton Railroad  Model". The case is a 3 piece gold filled  Hamilton signed case and the serial number is 1,071,458. The dial is excellent and it has the Canadian inner 13-24 Arabic numbers and the hands are railroad Hamilton hands. The crystal is glass and not a flaw and there are no personal engravings on this case. The movement I have just cleaned the proper way and all 23 jewels have been inspected and cleaned then oiled properly. This is a motor barrel model as the 4 screws indicate this fact and it is a double roller balance wheel. On the center wheel bridge it does read "Adj 6 pos" and this is for "adjusted 6 positions". All the jewels I would like to mention are in raised solid gold jewel settings.  The serial number for this superb and cleaned Hamilton 950B is S-13,878 which tells me it was produced in the year 1952. Across this 16 size Hamilton 950B is 51mm so it will fit comfy in a pocket for sure.

Vern Pickersgill was the C.P.R (Canadian Pacific Railroad) master time keeper I believe stationed in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, As Mr Peter Kushnir was at Montréal Quebec Canada. Vern Wanted a dial that would stand out from the American dials so he had all certified dials in enamel with the inner 13-24 and the outer 5 minute track done in red for all dials from 5,10,15,20 etc etc 60. The dial must be double sunk and must and the outer 5's in red and the inner 13-24 to be a "Pickersgill dial".

WALTHAM  19 JEWEL CRESCENT STREET ENAMEL MONTGOMERY DIAL EXTRA FINE CONDITION 1908

Darryl, it is every bit as beautiful as you promised. Absolutely stunning.
Actually, we had it two days ago but didn't realize that. As I told you, my bride was the one who cracked the PayPal code and she did so with her credit card -- not mine. Which meant that your shipper got Axx's name on the label rather than mine. Axx gets many packages and opens them at her leisure which postponed my response at seeing this one.
The chain, the box, and the pouch combined to make it a perfect presentation. I clearly see how you came to be chosen for the museum restorations. You do everything with such a flair that it has to attract people's attention. It certainly has attracted mine. And that's on top of your horological expertise.
It's a total pleasure to do business with you.
Thanks again for everything.
