WALTHAM STERLING SILVER
"EAGLE" CASE CIVIL WAR HUNTER MODEL PS BARTLETT WELL SERVCIED
STOCK NUMBER # WALTHAM7050-------This
is the piece to break your Piggy bank for. I have for sale a genuine and
perfectly serviced P.S Bartlett Waltham pocket watch from the year 1865....yes I
wrote 1865 and works beautifully. Across this genuine "R&N Eagle" case is 63mm
and very hard to find with solid reliable hinges. This R&N coin silver case was
made for this PS Bartlett model movement so it is a genuine all original piece
indeed. The case serial number is a very early 5054 and signed as such on both
covers and the inner silver cuvette. I would say this silver "R&N Eagle" case is
4 ounces (ish) of silver as it is that heavy indeed. I will also say this R&N
Eagle case brings in premium pricing as again difficult to find. The dial is
original and made of enamel with a few lines and I took clear scans so you can
see them, never any trickery with me. Hands are gold and Waltham factory pieces
for sure. When you push the crown in on the top of the case the cover for the
enamel dial flips open to a nearly perfect 90% angle. I will also say this
enamel "American Waltham" dial is pinned into the movement not held in by dial
feet screws so you know its the real deal. I have serviced this piece and
inspected every cog and tooth on all wheels of the train with my Zeiss
microscope and with a new mainspring this piece is in perfect order which is
incredible as it is from 1865 as mentioned prior. There are 11 jewels to this
P.S Bartlett model 1857 movement and this piece had a run of only 120 pieces!
This is a key wind from the back as displayed in one of the scans and a key set
by the front when you insert the key into the slot in the center where the hands
are attached. As clean as can be and an amazing historical piece indeed, truly a
great American know how from the civil War and make no mistakes about this fact
! On a closing note this is an 18 size hunter model civil war American pocket
watch so again ...it's big!

enamel with original hands and the crystal is glass not a flaw. There is one
itty bitty line from the 23 position down to the center and if I didn't mention

Darryl the words thank you just cannot express just how much I appreciate
what you did for me with that watch dial. I told Jason in NY that I
didn't think it would be fair for you to have to pay the postage after you
were good enough to give me the dial.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. It
just arrived today and he's already changed it out. Have a fine day and
above all stay healthy.
