USA. The case across is 55mm. This is an 18 size P.S. Bartlett Waltham model and
it is stem wind and lever set. This piece has been properly serviced with never
short cut taken at all. There are 15 clean and inspected jewels and they are in
gold jewel settings for sure as the scan shows you clearly. The serial number
for this nickel damaskeened Waltham is 5,994,938 and this tells me it was
produced in the year 1892 and it runs like day on. The crystal is glass not a
flaw and the hands are original. This is a railroad pocket watch and the dial is
just stunning even though there are spider lines it doesn't take away from the
beauty of this piece! On the back of this gold filled case there is a crisp
picture of an Elk and scans are avail upon request.
